Milani is a leading company in the processing, roasting and packaging of dried fruit, both in-shell and shelled, combining traditional craftsmanship with technological innovation.

With the acquisition of a second facility dedicated to the processing of large bulk formats for the fruit and vegetable markets, the company is strengthening its production capacity and responding to the needs of a constantly evolving market.

Our automatic packaging lines ensure maximum flexibility, from 20 grams to 15 kg, with solutions in air, modified atmosphere and vacuum packaging, all continuously monitored by quality control.

Early 1970s

In the province of Rovigo, Remigio Milani set up a business specialising in the processing and wholesale trade of fruit and vegetables. Over time, he gradually expanded into dried fruit, eventually specialising entirely in this sector and discontinuing the sale of fresh produce.

Late 1970s – early 1980s

Marino and Paolo, the sons, joined the company, consolidating its market presence and expanding its sales network with wholesalers and retailers.

Early 1990s

Milani becomes a general partnership (SNC) and takes a significant step forward in its growth: the organisation is restructured, the product range is expanded, and the first partnerships with large-scale retail chains (GDO) begin.

 

2012 – 2018

The family-run business is expanding with the arrival of Mattia and Davide, Marino’s sons: three generations are now working together to run the business.

2020

With the acquisition of a local business in Lendinara, the company is expanding into new markets, entering the fruit and vegetable sector under the leadership of Mattia Milani with a new brand: “Real Tost”.

 

2024

The success of the Real Tost product marked a decisive step in the company’s growth. This outcome led to a significant organisational change: the Lendinara plant was relocated to Occhiobello, near the head office, following the acquisition of a second plant.

Today

Today, Milani continues to grow by investing in new resources and technologies: the recruitment of new staff and the introduction of more modern machinery enable us to respond more efficiently to market demands. The company has also expanded its range with new products, strengthening its presence in large-scale retail chains and embarking on a strategy to expand into foreign markets.
