Country of Origin: centre-south Ukraine, near the Black Sea, is the typical production area of pumpkin seeds.
Harvest season: September – November.


Fresh pumpkin seeds can be dried in oven for about 15 minutes at 80°-90° C. If the drying lasts more, seeds lose their nutritional substances.

Beneficial properties:

Pumpkin seeds boast several healing properties: they contain tryptophan, a serotonin precursoR amino acid, improving good mood and sleep; they are rich in magnesium, zinc, iron, essentialfatty acid Omega 3; they have antiinflammatory properties, lowering the level of bad cholesteriol in blood; they contain vegetal fiber, good for the health of the intestine. They contain vitamin E (anti-oxidant action), B2 (it helps the production of blood cells), B3 (good for the matabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates), B5, B6 (beneficial action for the nervous system), C (anti-oxidant), K (it balances sugars in bloods), vitamin J.
